At Mandalya Property caring for the environment is a prime consideration when building our developments. During construction and beyond we strive to limit energy consumption, reduce waste and recycle materials and natural resources where possible. Good environmental practices not only reduce damage to the environment but reduce operational costs involved in ongoing site management which provides financial savings for our investors.
All our construction materials, fixtures & fittings are sourced locally. All excavated stone and top soil is reused.
Where possible the site water supply is sourced directly from underground aquifers. Waste water from the developments is cleaned and reused for garden irrigation. Sprinkler systems where possible are installed in the gardens to limit consumption
Solar energy is employed for external communal lighting
Drought resistant local plants are used in the gardens which not only reduces irrigation needs but means the development blends sympathetically with the natural surrounding environment. All existing trees are preserved on site where possible, trees that need to be removed are preserved off site and replanted within the development on completion of building works.
Properties are built using double wall construction techniques with insulation between the walls and also in the roofs. Double glazed windows and doors are installed. Our properties therefore require much less use of multi split air conditioners, throughout the summer and winter seasons.
One central satellite dish and a wireless internet connection is installed per development to feed all properties and negate the need for the installation of multiple receivers.
Our developments are located in an area of natural beauty and we pay due consideration during the design process to ensure that the buildings and gardens blend as sympathetically as possible with the local environment.
